Spendio - Privacy Policy

Spendio is a fully offline expense tracking and budget manager application developed by A&K Tech. The application operates entirely locally on your device and does not require an internet connection.

Data Collection

Spendio does not collect, track, or share any personal information, financial data, or usage analytics with external servers or third parties. All inputs, including your expenses, budgets, transactions, and category customizations, are stored locally on your device only.

Local Profile Setup

Spendio does not use online user accounts or cloud authentication. When using the app, you may set up a local profile which includes a display name, currency preference, and a profile photo. This information is saved strictly within your device's local sandbox storage. We do not have access to this data, nor can we recover it if lost.

Permissions We Use

To provide full functionality, Spendio uses the following system permissions locally. None of these transmit data off your device:

POST_NOTIFICATIONS

Used to send local alerts, monthly limits, and expense reminders. No notification data is sent to any external server.

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Used to restore local scheduled reminders and recurring transactions automatically when your device restarts.

WAKE_LOCK

Used to allow the device to safely run the local background database worker (e.g. processing scheduled recurring expenses).

VIBRATE

Used to trigger haptic feedback/vibrations for local notifications and reminder alerts.

CAMERA / PHOTO GALLERY

Used locally to capture a new photo or select an existing image from your gallery if you choose to customize your profile picture. No image data is shared or uploaded.

DEVICE STORAGE (READ / WRITE)

Used locally to export transaction logs (such as PDF/CSV backups) directly to your device's storage at your request. Storage permissions are requested only for user-initiated file exports.

Third Party Services

Spendio does not integrate with third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising platforms, marketing trackers, or crash analytics systems. No network calls are made to external services.

Data Security

Because Spendio does not use online servers, passwords, or PIN locks, there is no transmission risk over public networks. All database transactions are committed directly to your device's sandboxed storage. You are in full control of your physical device security and the privacy of your local databases.

Children's Privacy

Spendio does not collect or request data from children under the age of 13. The application is intended for individuals aged 18 and older.

Your Rights & Data Control

Since all data remains on your physical storage, you have absolute ownership and control over it. You can permanently erase all records and settings at any time by:

Clearing the application's data/cache through your Android device settings.
Uninstalling the Spendio application from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this offline privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be updated on this page with a revised date stamp.
